Nestled in East Central Austin, Austin Beerworks Sprinkle Valley (10300 Springdale Rd, Austin, TX 78754) is a brewery experience like no other. I was invited out for a hosted experience and brought my mom along for a little trip down memory lane—since I went to high school just down the road from here between 2010-2014. Seeing how much this area has transformed made the visit even more special.
First Impressions – Spacious & Packed with Fun
The first thing that stood out? The sheer size of this place! The space is crazy big, with a front patio, a massive indoor area, and a sprawling backyard filled with picnic tables, covered seating, a play area for kids (including a treehouse!), and even a disc golf course at the very back of the property.
Inside, there’s no shortage of seating, with booths, tables, and an entire lounge area stocked with board and card games for visitors to enjoy. Oh, and did I mention they have a game room? Plus, their merch corner is full of must-have items for Austin Beerworks fans.
Drinks – Refreshing & Unique
ABW is known for its craft beer, but they also serve up cocktails, ciders, non-alcoholic drinks, and wine—perfect for the warmer weather.
I tried:
Peach Bellini (frozen, topped with peach ring candies!) – Sweet, icy, and the ultimate refreshment.
Ranch Water (made with wine instead of tequila!) – A crisp and light twist on a classic.
There’s truly something for everyone, whether you’re into craft brews or just looking for something different to sip on.
The Food – Absolute Showstoppers
Now let’s talk about the real stars of the show—the food trucks! I had some of the best eats I’ve had in a long time, and I can’t wait to go back.
🍕 Obsidian Pizza – A Slice of Perfection
Obsidian Pizza did not miss. The pizza was so perfect, someone even commented that it looked like AI-generated food—but trust me, the taste was real!
Meat Heater Pizza – Spicy, savory, and packed with flavor.
Pepperoni Pizza – A classic done right.
Cheese Bread & Salad – The perfect side additions.
Pro tip: Don’t skip the ranch and hot honey sauces! The staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
🌮 La Taquicardia – The Best Tacos in Austin?
I don’t say this lightly: these were the best tacos my mom and I have ever had in Austin. And trust me, we’ve had a LOT of tacos over the years.
Pastor Tacos – Perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Quesabirria Tacos – Juicy, cheesy, and completely life-changing.
Not only was the food insanely good, but the owners were also so kind and welcoming. We got to chat with them about their business and even found out we had a few things in common. It was such a wholesome experience. We’re already planning our next visit!
Final Thoughts – The New Go-To Spot
Austin Beerworks Sprinkle Valley has everything—amazing drinks, incredible food, and tons of activities to keep you entertained for hours. Whether you’re here for the beer, the food, or just a fun day out, this place delivers.
The only thing missing? Maybe a pool table or two. But honestly, with everything they offer, this is definitely my new go-to hangout spot in East Austin.
