The staff at Madam Mam’s were so warm and welcoming, and the dishes I got to try were full of flavor and purpose. As part of the Eat for Impact initiative, they’re offering plant-based specials that make it easy to enjoy great food while supporting a more sustainable future.
I tried the Pineapple Fried Rice and the Red Coconut Curry, and both were delicious. The fried rice was fragrant and packed with vibrant veggies, tofu, and sweet pineapple chunks. Honestly, I might like it even more than the classic version.
The red coconut curry had a rich, comforting flavor with a nice level of spice. It came with a generous mix of vegetables. The mushrooms and green beans were my personal favorites, but the whole dish was beautifully balanced.
The atmosphere at the W Anderson Lane location is very chill, with relaxing ambient music playing in the background and plenty of tables and booths to choose from. It’s a great spot to enjoy a casual meal without feeling rushed.
What is Eat for Impact?
Eat for Impact is a campaign created by Planted Society in collaboration with the City of Austin’s Office of Climate Action and Resilience. The goal is to spotlight plant-rich meals that are better for the planet by helping reduce emissions, protect ecosystems, and make sustainable dining more accessible across the city.
This initiative focuses on making climate-friendly choices enjoyable and showing how local restaurants are stepping up to lead the way.
If you’re looking for your next lunch or dinner spot, Madam Mam’s is a flavorful place to start.
